5K MAY – RUN, DONATE, NOMINATE

This May, we’re inviting you to take on 5K in the way that feels right for you – a quiet morning walk, a jog with a friend, a wander with the kids, or gentle steps gathered throughout the month. However you choose to do your 5K, every single step helps bring comfort and care to neonatal babies and the families.

At Tiny Lives, we know the neonatal journey can feel emotional, overwhelming and full of uncertainty. That’s why challenges like 5K May mean so much. Your kindness helps make those difficult days feel a little lighter, reminding parents that their community is right beside them.

Getting involved is simple and flexible – you can take part as an individual, using the challenge as a chance to move, reflect and give back. Every 5K completed helps fund meaningful items, from Parent Packs to Miniboo Bonding Aids, providing comfort and connection when families need it most.

It’s also a brilliant opportunity for workplaces and teams. Whether it’s a lunchtime walk, a wellbeing activity, or a team‑wide step challenge, 5K May encourages colleagues to reconnect, take mindful breaks and boost wellbeing together all while supporting a cause that touches so many lives. Remote teams can join in too, making it a perfect shared activity across locations.

And of course, communities can get involved in their own way. Families, schools, clubs and neighborhood groups can walk together, create mini‑challenges or simply support one another throughout the month. However people choose to take part, 5K May brings communities closer while helping tiny lives thrive.

To join in, all you need to do is:

  • Complete your 5K any time between 1–31 May
  • Donate £5 to Tiny Lives
  • Nominate five others to pass the kindness on
  • Share your moment with #5KMay — we love seeing your photos, routes and smiles
