Ward 35 Celebrates UNICEF Accreditation

In January 2022, Ward 35 was awarded full accreditation as a UNICEF Baby Friendly Unit.

On Monday October 4th, Dame Jackie Daniel unveiled a plaque to commemorate this wonderful accreditation. The accreditation demonstrates the ward’s commitment to providing services to better support families with feeding and developing close and loving relationships so that all babies get the best possible start in life.

Thanks to all families who took part in the interviews to help achieve this.

There was a small gathering amongst the staff after the unveiling and Tiny Lives were in attendance to help celebrate this incredible achievement!
