Every year, families will find themselves spending their first Christmas with their new baby in hospital. These babies who arrive prematurely or who are born unwell during the festive season will spend days, weeks, or even months on the RVI Neonatal Unit, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The Tiny Lives Trust works to raise £350,000 a year to support these vulnerable babies and their families, funding specialist staff roles, developmental care equipment, emotional and financial support, and more. You can find out more about what we fund year-round here.
At Christmas, Tiny Lives also funds gifts for all of the families on the Neonatal Unit, special ‘Santaboo’ bonding aids, Christmas Muslins and party food for the Ward, helping to spread a little Christmas magic during a tough time.
You can help to make Christmas magical for more Neonatal families, as well as support the 750+ babies a year that will spend time on the RVI Neonatal Unit. Tiny Lives is an independent charity, so any donation will make a huge difference to babies and their families at Christmas and beyond.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
