Fundraising local theatre show promises lots of laughs!
Looking for some laughs? On 14th and 15th September 2018, the Little Theatre in Gateshead will be home to Miss Bunty & Igor’s Laughter Show, a hilarious show for all the family – and best of all, every ticket sold will help to raise funds for Tiny Lives.
George Callander, the show’s producer, has a record of supporting charitable causes with his previous shows and this year has kindly chosen to support Tiny Lives. He’ll be donating a portion of the profits from the show, as well as hosting collection buckets during performance nights.
He said: ‘Tiny Lives does great work supporting great people- whom as I know from personal experience – consider themselves very ordinary people. Perhaps so, but through their quiet dedication and skill they transform not only the Tiny Lives but the Big Lives of those who love them and cling to the hope in every bleep and flash of monitor, driver or ventilator. How can anyone not want to support such a charity?”
In an even greater display of generosity, George is offering a special Tiny Lives discount price of two Adult tickets for £14.00 (plus small booking fee). This price is only available by booking online here and entering the booking reference ‘BUNTY’.

Miss Bunty Del Mar & Igor’s Laughter Show 2018 On The Crest of A Wave
Comedy duo ‘Miss Bunty & Igor’ return to Gateshead’s Little Theatre with their 2018 family Laughter Show, “On the Crest of a Wave”.
Miss Bunty Del Mar is the glamorous Queen of Stage, Screen, Bingo and the Griegg’s breakfast queue. With a story, a song (and of course a stunning frock) for every occasion Bunty is the sparkling, cheeky star of the night!
Igor dazzles in breathtaking gymnastic routines and appears as a host of other characters. All in addition to serving as Miss Bunty’s hapless sidekick.
Bunty and Igor are joined once more by Gateshead’s own singing star of tomorrow, twelve-year-old Immogen Porteous. Immogen is a young lady with a great voice who is clearly destined for big things. Remember you saw her here first!
Miss Bunty and Igor promise an evening of comedy, sketches, plenty of audience participation, music and laughter suitable for all the family. There will be more sequins than you can shake a stick at – plus a few surprises … Also, and by public demand, Miss Bunty’s ‘All that Jazz’ sketch returns from last year’s show.
