Nando’s Sunderland raises hundreds of pounds with charity concert
Nando’s Sunderland recently raised a fantastic £270.73 for the Tiny Lives Trust by holding a charity gig at local music venue, Independent.
The event, called ‘Band Together’, saw local bands and musicians take to the stage for a night of live music, all in aid of Tiny Lives. There was also a raffle and Tiny Lives merchandise was sold at the tills in Nando’s in order to raise even more money.
The event was organised by the Buddy Team at Nando’s as part of a new initiative that encourages employees to get involved in their local community and to aid charities. Bethany Carr (pictured), the leader of the Buddy Team at Nando’s Sunderland, was the driving force behind the event, saying: “It’s been great doing our bit to help such a worthwhile cause”.
We want to say a huge thank you to all of the Nando’s staff, Independent Sunderland, all of musicians who took part and the attendees who gave so generously on the night!
