Leica Biosystems present donation of £1,500

We would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Leica Biosystems who presented a very kind donation of £1,500 to the Tiny Lives Trust during a visit to the Special Care Baby Unit.

After deciding they would like to make a donation to a local cause, colleague Leigh Murray put forward Tiny Lives in honour of his daughter’s time on the Special Care Baby Unit three years ago. Alice arrived three months early and was cared for on the Red Area, until she was well enough to get transferred closer to home at Sunderland and then Darlington.

Thank you so much for the incredibly generous donation, and thank you to Leigh for thinking of Tiny Lives in honour of Alice’s care.
