Local company Spark Response raise £1,750
The Tiny Lives Trust would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Spark Response for getting really stuck in and raising the fantastic amount of £1,750 through bake sales, raffles and staff sales. Your support to Tiny Lives helps provide the highest level of care for babies and their families on the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI Newcastle. Including enabling staff to attend training courses so they can be trained in advancements in the field of neonatal care and bring new ideas for best practise straight onto the Special Care Baby Unit, and disseminate among their 160 colleagues who care for the region’s premature and ill new babies and their parents.
As one staff member reported back after a recent course:
“The course helps ensure that neonatal professionals are trained and equipped both to support babies’ development and involve parents fully in their care, ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. The course helps to train neonatal professionals to deliver the best care, which not only improves the experience of Infants and parents during their time in hospital.”
