HASSRA at the Department for Work and Pensions raise £1,110 in a month!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all staff who got involved and raised an incredible £1,110.82 with HASSRA at the Tyneview Park Department for Work and Pensions site.
The Sport and Social Club (HASSRA) worked hard to get the whole site involved and smash their original fundraising target of £450 through raffles, auctions, bake sales and more after Tiny Lives were put forward as their Charity of the Month in honour of one staff member’s granddaughter, Libby, and her time spent on the Special Care Baby Unit two years ago.
Staff also donated items for the Nearly New Sales and knitted items for babies currently on the Special Care Baby Unit.
Tiny Lives got to go along to the site and meet the driving forces of the fundraising, along with Libby herself!
