Sophie raises £597.50 through a sponsored hair cut.

We would like to say a massive thank you and congratulations to Sophie who raised £597.50 though a sponsored hair cut!

After Sarah from Ward 35 SCBU went into Sophie’s primary school to talk about the babies and families she looks after, Sophie was inspired to help raise funds and decided to do a sponsored hair cut. Sophie decided to cut off 12 inches so the hair can also be donated to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who suffer hair loss due to cancer.

As Sophie’s mum writes on her Just Giving page “Sophie has made this big decision by herself and we are so proud of her!” and we couldn’t agree more!
