We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Elizabeth and daughter Bella (3 years old) who kindly raised over £80 on the run up to Christmas 2016 by selling Magic Reindeer Food all in loving memory of son and brother Harry George Thompson (31.01.2012-07.02.2012)
We would like to say a massive thank you and congratulations to Sophie who raised £597.50 though a sponsored hair cut!
After Sarah from Ward 35 SCBU went into Sophie’s primary school to talk about the babies and families she looks after, Sophie was inspired to help raise funds and decided to do a sponsored hair cut. Sophie decided to cut off 12 inches so the hair can also be donated to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who suffer hair loss due to cancer.
As Sophie’s mum writes on her Just Giving page “Sophie has made this big decision by herself and we are so proud of her!” and we couldn’t agree more!
Colleen Wilson and friends completed their sponosred walk on 08.01.2017 in loving memory of her son Caleb Nevelle Wilson Wood.
Thank you to everyone who has helped raise the wonderful amount of £619 from supporting Colleen and friends with the sponsored walk and also other fundraising activities all in loving memory of Caleb Nevelle
In December 2016, Frank Recruitment Group generously donated over £1500 to Tiny Lives as part of a dress down day.
Employees at the firm’s Newcastle offices, on Collingwood Street and Westgate Road, raised an incredible amount for us as they donned their festive jumpers and got into the Christmas spirit.
Dylan Christie, a Business Manager at Nigel Frank International, has a close connection with Tiny Lives; his beautiful triplets, Aimee, Louis and Sofia, were born at just 32 weeks and were immediately taken to the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI.
At birth Aimee weighed 3lb 11oz, Louis was 3lb 3oz and Sofia weight just 2lb 1oz – but with the help of the amazing staff on Ward 35 they were strong enough to come home after six weeks.
Dylan has also been a trustee for Tiny Lives and regularly fundraises for our charity.
Thank you Frank Recruitment Group!
On Saturday 17th December, Alex kindly organised a Christmas Market in aid of Tiny Lives at Trinity Church, Gosforth raising the wonderful amount of £549 all in loving memory of Livia Goldwater
It was lovely to meet Alex to say thank you face to face and also to meet lots of the stall holders.
