We at Tiny Lives are looking to publish a book for siblings of babies on the ward.
This book will hopefully help siblings understand what is happening, and will also provide some meaningful activities to aid their wellbeing. We really want parents views as to what they want to see in the book, and what content should be included.
Therefore we are holding the first focus group at 1pm – 2pm on Monday 19th of September, the group will last an hour and refreshments will be available.
We’d like to share survey with you from the Newcastle Hospitals’ Women’s Services team who are looking at how best to shape their services in:
• Reproductive Medicine
We share the belief that there is always room for improvement, and the best way to look at how to do this is to ask you!
You can read more about the survey here, or you can go right ahead and complete it here… remember to share it with friends and family too!
On behalf of all of us at Tiny Lives and The Newcastle Hospitals’ Women’s Services thank you!
Thank you to Richard Thomson and Paul Dilley for choosing to support Tiny Lives in loving memory of Eleanor McCourt as they take part in the 36 day long Peking to Paris Motor Challenge.
There are some pretty incredible updates over at the Endurance Rally website and needless to say we’re all keeping up to date in awe!
A group of Apprentices at Your Homes Newcastle have taken on an enterprise project to turn some stock into cash as part of their training.
The group worked with the Newcastle Eagles to grow their cash at home games, and donated all of their profits to local charities.
£92.50 of their profits came to Tiny Lives and some of the team came by the office to find out exactly how their hard work and donation goes towards helping families on the Special Care Baby Unit.
Well done to the team and thank you for thinking of Tiny Lives during your project.
Good luck for the rest of your course!
