Anji is running several races this year as her beautiful nephew Sam was in special care for three months last year. She’s planning to do the Edinburgh half marathon in May, the Great North Run in September, and is starting with a few smaller events. The first is a 10k race along Newcastle Quayside on Sunday 3 March. Meet at 9.30-9.45 for a 10.00am start outside the Baltic. Contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to join in! Anji is certainly putting her athletics coaching licence to good use!! So check out her JustGiving page http://www.justgiving.com/AnjiRippon to support her year of running for Tiny Lives.
Even premature babies (when grown up!) can raise funds for Tiny Lives. These former premature pupils and their friends at Longridge Towers, Berwick-upon-Tweed enjoyed a non-uniform day in December 2012 and raised £551.91. A big thank you to everyone who was happy not to wear a tie!
