Help us raise £1,000 in a day!

If you are interested in volunteering or can support us in some other way, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us bag pack in Marks & Spencer:

– Saturday 30 March in Marks & Spencer on Northumberland Street in Newcastle

– Saturday 4 May in Marks & Spencer on Northumberland Street in Newcastle

It’s fun, only 3 hours of your time (either 10.00-1.00pm or 1.00-4.00pm), and we can raise £1,000 in a day!

Anji is running several races this year as her beautiful nephew Sam was in special care for three months last year. She’s planning to do the Edinburgh half marathon in May, the Great North Run in September, and is starting with a few smaller events.  The first is a 10k race along Newcastle Quayside on Sunday 3 March. Meet at 9.30-9.45 for a 10.00am start outside the Baltic. Contact her at anjiclose@yahoo.co.uk if you want to join in!  Anji is certainly putting her athletics coaching licence to good use!! Prem Babies Raise Funds for Tiny Lives

Carol Meredith receiveing a cheque on behalf of the Tiny Lives charity from Ellie Sargent and other Longridge pupils who benifited from the special care babies charity as infants. The school raised the £551 holding a non-uniform day.Even premature babies (when grown up!) can raise funds for Tiny Lives.  These former premature pupils and their friends at Longridge Towers, Berwick-upon-Tweed enjoyed a non-uniform day in December 2012 and raised £551.91.  A big thank you to everyone who was happy not to wear a tie!
