Setting your own challenge
“Don’t be scared to believe in yourself. Just remember every penny can make a massive difference”
Use your imagination to set your own challenge (and see if you can persuade your friends and family to join you!). Here are some ideas:
- Invite people to sponsor you to give up a favourite food like chocolate, or make a lifestyle change such as sponsored weight loss or gym challenge?
- Would you shave your head for Tiny Lives or endure a chest/leg wax?!
- Do a sponsored “a-thon” challenge…how many hours could you sing/dance for? What else could you do (either on your own or as part of a team) keep up for several hours?
- If you have a head for heights, or are feeling brave, what about a sponsored abseil or zipslide? You could even follow in the footsteps of Dr Hans Steiner, one of the founders of Tiny Lives, who did a sponsored parchute jump for the charity back in 1983!
