Knitting, sewing and donating baby clothes
Knitting for Premature Babies
Knitted hats and cardigans can be passed by Tiny Lives to the Special Care Baby Unit. To protect tiny fingers and tiny toes from getting trapped, please take note of the following:
The ward can accept closely knit hats and cardigans.
The ward cannot accept mittens, bootees, crochet items, lace or ladder knitted items.
For advice on sizes and patterns please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Baby Quilts – A Special Memory
Quilts made by individual quilters and quilting groups are given to each family on the unit. These special quilts are unique and form part of the package of family support that Tiny Lives provides to every baby and its parents on the unit. The quilts should measure 12″x18″ with no invisible or loose threads. Contact Katie at https://www.facebook.com/TinyLivesRVI#!/WithLoveFromMadison?fref=ts
