Homes for Northumberland support Tiny Lives

BIG SPONSORSHIP FOR TINY LIVES

HOMES for Northumberland staff have nominated the Tiny Lives Trust as corporate charity of the year.

The partnership will see employees of the housing organisation strive to raise money on behalf of the charity.

Kevin Lowry, managing director at Homes for Northumberland, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting a local charity that does such admirable work: helping to care for premature and sick new born babies, their mothers and families.

“Each year our staff go the extra mile for our corporate charity and I look forward to seeing the effect our fundraising efforts will have”

Sarah Smith-Voysey, fundraiser at Tiny Lives, said:

“We are delighted to be working with Homes for Northumberland this year. The Special Care Unit helps to support over 700 babies each year and Tiny Lives need to raise in excess of £200,000 each year to provide this support. We are extremely excited to have been chosen as the Homes for Northumberland charity of the year and look forward to working together to achieve our charitable aims”.

Homes for Northumberland employees will raise funds for the charity by participating in or organizing activities ranging from the Great North Run to cake sales and raffles.
